Revealing on social media that members of my family were murdered in a concentration camp for being Jewish wasn’t an easy decision to make.

It still feels a bit like I’m using family tragedy for petty politics.

But even after experiencing the rough and tumble of writing about politics on social media for over 8 years, I was still surprised at the amount of abuse I received.

And all because I happened to also mention that I like Jeremy Corbyn – which obviously goes against his opponents’ false narrative and vile smears that he is anti-semitic.
